How to join our Priority Services
Its free and quick to join. We don’t need any proof of your eligibility. You can also sign up on behalf of others, including a family member who you think would benefit from this free service.
- Call us on 0800 294 3259 to join
- Clicking here and fill out our easy online form.
- Download our Priority Services leaflet below, fill in the form and send it back to us by post using our freepost address.
If you use a textphone, you can joinby calling 0800 316 5457.
If you no longer require Priority Services, email us at networks.priority.services@sse.com or call us on 0800 294 3259 as we will remove you from the register.

Here are some reasons you could join
You may want to be on our register if you:
• Use medical equipment / aids that need electricity
• Have a chronic illness
• Are over sixty
• Are blind or partially sighted
• Are deaf or hard of hearing
• Have a disability
• Have anxiety, depression or any mental health condition
• Temporarily needs extra support
We understand that everyone has different needs. If you think you might struggle during a power cut, please contact us and let us know.
