The DNOA process establishes a transparent decision-making framework, providing opportunities for distributed energy resources and flexibility providers to meet forecasted needs. The process emphasises stakeholder value optimisation, energy efficiency, and iterative improvement through annual renewal and incorporation of stakeholder feedback.
To ensure that the DNOA methodology is being applied correctly and that there is transparency in how outcomes are reached, we utilise, Threepwood, an external consultancy to undertake an independent assurance assessment on selected DNOA outcomes as defined in our methodology.
